Painter, TV personality as the host of My Fair Lady and Gallery owner

Studies: NGV School 1935-1940.

The war put an end to his studies, however Bush became an official war artist from 1943 – 1946. After returning to Australia he taught drawing at the National Gallery School. He left for London where he studied under Bernard Mininsky 1950-1951. and in 1951was invited to exhibit at the Royal Academy. In Australia Bush was recognised for his arts knowledge and was included in the Arts Delegation to China in 1956.  In 1962 together with Phil Waterhouse and June Davies he founded the Leveson Street Gallery. Bush was the recipient of numerous prizes. He is represented in State and provincial galleries and the National war Memorial in Canberra.
